Great News! The South Orange Board of Adjustments has officially reen-lit SOMa’s first coworking facility, Work and Play, which will open at 19 Prospect Street this fall.
Right now, the building is a nondescript green house that you’ve probably driven by a million times without noticing. Come September, the façade will be transformed into a beautifully designed structure, conceived by Rebecca Gelman Architecture, that will warrant a second glance.
The coworking center will be located on the first floor, alongside four private office suites available for rent with a more traditional lease agreement. The lower level, accessible off a municipal lot at the back of the building, will hold the soon-to-be-licensed childcare facility and caregiver and me classes.
I can’t wait to share more developments with you as we begin this exciting renovation! In the meantime, if you’re interested in coworking, have a specific work or child care need, have grown out of your home office, or just want to say hi, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org or by signing up for our newsletter.
I look forward to sharing a workspace with you!
