It’s (almost) Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer (and the beginning of SOMa pool season!) It also marks the return of - for the fortunate few - Summer Fridays.
I wondered, where did Summer Fridays originate? According to a number of articles I found on the web (what did we do before google), ad agencies instituted Summer Fridays back in the 60’s. Some think Summer Fridays leads to more productivity; others think it just leads to more stress. What do you think? I for one wish my husband had Summer Fridays so he can join us at the pool for dinner.
